Dr. Rohit Garg is an integral part of the Door of Hope team and his expertise in de addiction and recovery has immensely helped a large number of people on their road to recovery. After completing his preliminary education in Chandigarh, he did his M.B.B.S from B.J medical college, Pune and did his M.D in Psychiatry from King George Medical University, Lucknow. After completing his M.D, he worked for 3 years in All India Institute Medical Sciences (AIIMS) specialising in de-addiction and rehabilitation. He now specialises in adult, child and geriatric disorders after having done immense research work and using new techniques like Repetitive Trans Magnetic Stimulation and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. He has been invited by various T.V and radio channels to spread awareness about mental disorders. More than all the awards and recognitions, which he has achieved including one of the best doctors award in India by Medihealth magazine in 2011 and 2013 and Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ekta Samman Award to name a few, Dr. Rohit Garg values his patient’s recovery and wellness more.

Dr. Syed Danish Ahmed is a highly regarded consultant psychiatrist based in Delhi, with an impressive 13 years of experience in the clinical field. His exceptional qualifications and dedication to his patients make him a valuable asset to the rehab facility.
After completing his MBBS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore in 2010, Dr. Ahmed pursued a specialisation in psychiatry. He obtained his DPM (Psychiatry) from the prestigious Central Institute of Psychiatry in Ranchi in 2015. His commitment to professional growth and development is further evidenced by his membership in the Delhi Medical Council.
Dr. Ahmed’s expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of various psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Over the course of 12 years, Mr. Vineet has served as a mentor to more than 500 addicts and their families, guiding them through the intricacies of the rehabilitation process. Drawing inspiration from the principles of organisations such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), he has effectively applied their methodologies to support individuals on their journey to recovery.

For over three decades, Rita has been actively involved in addiction work, dedicating her time and efforts to help individuals and families overcome the challenges associated with this condition. Her commitment to this cause has led her to serve both voluntarily and in full-time roles, demonstrating her deep passion and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. Niharika Ghosh is an experienced and licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of work experience, focusing specifically on children. Currently, Niharika works as a consultant psychologist at Door of Hope, a renowned organisation known for providing mental health support and services. She also works as a consultant at Batra Hospital. One of Niharika’s notable strengths is her ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for her clients, encouraging them to open up and be vulnerable during their sessions.
